How Long We Retain Your Data

Cancellation Policy

Both parties understand that "The Client" or Virtual Helper may terminate the service at any time if, for any reason, the relationship is deemed unsatisfactory by either party.

Upon written or verbal cancellation, "The Client" is responsible for payment for all expenses incurred and any work done towards the completion of the project based on the percentage of the project completed that is determined by Virtual Helper.

Should "The Client" cancel the project following its completion, "The Client" is responsible for full payment as per the agreed upon hourly rate plus all expenses incurred. In the event of cancellation, Virtual Helper retains ownership of all copyrights and original work created.

How We Protect Your Data

We safeguard your information using known encryption, security standards and procedures. We also assess new technology for protecting client information on an ongoing basis.

Virtual Helper does not guarantee the security of any data passing through its networks.

Although Virtual Helper will provide a "best effort" service, including regular updates on computer viruses and other threats to security of data, it is the responsibility of the communicating parties and end user to safeguard their data, and Virtual Helper cannot be held liable for any loss or damage arising as result of the failure to do so.

Industry Regulatory Disclosure Requirements

You may request information on how your data has been used as well as request the destruction or de-identification of your personal data.

Virtual Helper will consider your request in light of any other laws or regulations prohibiting Virtual Helper from doing so. We undertake to respond to such a request within one month of the request being received.
